The technical proficiency is astounding with whiplash time signature changes, fret melting solos and cool double bass drum work/5().

   Oct 10,  · The Years Of Decay is the band’s fourth album and for my money, their unmatched masterpiece. In recent years, Overkill has released a succession of outstanding albums but even those fail to dent the love I have for this album.

   The Years of Decay is the fourth studio album by thrash metal band Overkill, released on October 13, through Atlantic and Megaforce Records. It is the last Overkill album to feature guitarist Bobby Gustafson, who left the band amid a feud between himself and its founding members Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth and D. D. Verni.

   The Years Of Decay is Overkill’s first CD I bought, but Overkill’s second album, I also getsmarsirelera.trogumomtoogamlirestgousbiosacphyomea.co fact, I had bought Under The Influence on vinyl a year before.I got The Years Of Decay probably the day of it’s release and it must be one of first ten CDs that I ever bought.I suppose my mother still remembers me buying this album, because I played it so loud at home that she would get mad.
